Press release
RealtorList.Net announces the launch of an open real-estate directory for Costa del Sol, created to make it easier to find agencies and agents and to promote a clearer, verifiable and more useful professional presence in an increasingly digital market.
The platform organises profiles by location, languages, services, specialisms and property types, and includes reviews, badges and an editorial network focused on SEO, content marketing and visibility in AI-powered search.
RealtorList.Net announces the launch of its directory real-estate directory for Costa del Sol, a platform designed so that domestic and international buyers can find and compare agencies and agents more clearly, and so that professionals can build a coherent digital presence beyond property portals.
The directory launches with a broad base of professional profiles and a structure that organises information by location, languages, real-estate services, specialisms and property types. Basic inclusion allows an agency to be found even before it has claimed its profile. Subsequently, the professional can review their information and choose the visibility level that suits their strategy.
The phrase serves as a strategic call to action. Having a website is not enough, nor is listing properties or creating social media profiles. The difference lies in connecting every point: content, reputation, video, local data, reviews, editorial mentions, user experience and the ability to respond when the client is ready to move forward.
Today’s SEO is no longer the SEO of five years ago
For years, many real-estate strategies were built around a list of keywords and a specific position on Google. That approach remains important, but it no longer explains on its own how a person discovers, compares and chooses an agency.
Google confirms that fundamental SEO practices remain relevant for AI Overviews and AI Mode: indexable pages, useful, reliable, people-first content. At the same time, AI-powered search allows users to ask longer questions, compare options and continue with follow-up questions. In October 2025, Google noted that queries in AI Mode were almost three times longer than traditional searches.
RealtorList summarises this change with its own framework: AEO, “All Engine Optimization”. It is not about abandoning Google, but about preparing a brand to be understood and found on search engines, AI assistants, video platforms, maps, social media, specialist media and trusted directories.
“The real-estate decision no longer takes place on a single website. It is built through a chain of answers, trust signals and contacts spread across several platforms.”
RealtorList.NetHow an international buyer may research today
Ask an artificial intelligence tool
They seek initial guidance on the best areas, prices, taxes, schools, profitability or quality of life.
Explore opportunities on social media
They browse Facebook, Instagram or TikTok to discover properties, developments, communities and signs of local activity.
Look for people on video
They use YouTube, Reels and virtual tours to see how an agent communicates, what they know and whether they inspire trust before making contact.
Confirm the decision
They check the website, professional profile, reviews, contact details, service areas and credibility signals.
A Semrush study of 2025, based on 5.000 keywords and more than 150.000 citations, found that the sources used by ChatGPT had a lower overlap with Google's traditional top 10 than other systems analysed. The practical conclusion for an agency is simple: ranking well on one channel does not guarantee appearing on all the others.
A website without distribution is like selling ice cream in the desert
An agency may have an attractive website, good properties and a team professional. However, if no one can find that website, the commercial proposition does not reach the market. It is the digital equivalent of opening an ice-cream stand in the middle of the desert: the product may be perfect, but there is no flow of people able to buy it.
That is why RealtorList does not view visibility as a decorative metric. The aim is to create useful entry points for users: a city page, a tax explanation, a buying guide, a comparison of services, a review, a video, an editorial article or a profile that clearly answers a real question.
International experience also confirms that technology does not eliminate the importance of the professional. The 2025 report by the National Association of REALTORS® found that 88 % of buyers in its sample purchased a home through an agent or broker. Digital search can accelerate research, but the right person remains essential to interpret, negotiate and complete a complex transaction.
The origin of RealtorList: finding the right professional, not just the right property
The idea was born from a practical frustration observed over years of working with international buyers and agency collaborations. Professional information was scattered, difficult to compare and, in many cases, did not make it clear who covered each area, which languages they offered or what services they could provide.
A buyer may find an attractive property on a portal and, still be unable to view it. Sometimes the phone goes unanswered, the email arrives late, the listing contains incomplete information, the terms are unclear or the listing no longer represents a genuine opportunity. The issue then stops being “finding the property” and becomes finding the professional partner able to confirm, explain, show alternatives and support the decision.
“RealtorList does not aim to replace the agent. It aims to help the buyer identify who can genuinely respond, explain and provide support.”
RealtorList.NetThe directory aims to reduce this friction by presenting each profile within a common structure. The platform distinguishes between a simple listing, a claimed profile and different visibility levels, preventing all professionals from appearing the same without context.
What the directory offers buyers, agencies and agents
Profiles can link locations, languages, specialisms, services and property types. This means an agency does not depend solely on the user already knowing its name: it can also be discovered through what it does, where it works and whom it can serve.
Listed agency
Indicates that the company has a public profile in the directory. A basic listing does not constitute verification.
Verified agency
Distinguishes profiles that have completed the relevant verification process and maintain the applicable access level.
RealtorList also includes a review system and management rights that vary by plan. The aim is not to automatically reward those who pay, but to provide tools for responding, moderating and presenting themselves professionally within public rules.
More than a directory: an editorial network for international visibility
The most ambitious part of the project is Traffic Master, an editorial strategy service for agencies that need to appear in contexts where buyers naturally research: property, areas, taxation, financing, relocation, life in Spain and investment.
Rather than publishing isolated links or generic content, the strategy connects useful articles with relevant agency pages. This makes it possible to build mentions and discovery paths around real questions from international buyers.
A specialised and growing network
Editorial sites focused on property, taxation and lifestyle and local markets in the Costa del Sol and Spain.
This approach follows an increasingly relevant logic in real-estate marketing: trust is built before the form. The buyer can learn about an area through a guide, understand taxes on another site, discover an agency in a directory, see the agent on video and confirm their decision on the corporate website.
Editorial presence also helps prevent the entire strategy from depending on paid ads or portals that control access to users. RealtorList does not promise specific rankings, traffic, leads or sales. Its commitment focuses on the creation, publication and maintenance of the contracted deliverables.
A model without automatic renewal
RealtorList plans are set for defined periods and are not renewed automatically. The decision is intended to reduce one of the common frustrations with SaaS and marketing platforms: continuing to charge even when the client no longer sees value or has stopped using the service.
At the end of the period, the agency decides whether it wishes to continue. Pause RealtorList, this structure requires demonstrating value during the first twelve months and reinforces a relationship based on visible deliverables, rather than the inertia of a forgotten subscription.
“If the client does not want to continue, they should not discover another automatic charge.” “Continuation must be earned through visible work.”
RealtorList.NetA shared-benefit project
RealtorList is presented as a model that benefits three parties. Buyers have free access to organised information and can find professionals who match their needs. Agencies and agents gain a basic presence and can expand the management, reputation and distribution of their brand. The sector gains an additional layer of transparency and specialist content.
The project begins in the Costa del Sol, with dedicated pages for Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Benahavís, Marbella, Estepona, Casares, Manilva and Sotogrande, and has been designed to grow progressively into other markets in Spain.
